A scientific seminar was held in Trauma Center, Shamoli, Dhaka on joint replacement surgery of Hip & Knee on 14th march, 2008. Dr. Vikash Kappor of Armenian Church Trauma Center, Kolkata and Prof. A. F. M. Ruhal Haque of Trauma Center, Shamoli, Dhaka conducted the seminar followed and preceeded by liveshow of the total Hip & Knee joint replacement surgery.

The seminar was attended by a number of renowned Orthopaedic Professors and Surgeons of the country such as Prof. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Prof. Sk. Nurul Alam, Prof. Amjad Hossain, Dr. Prasanta Agarwal and Dr. Amit Mehetra. The entire program was sponsored by Unimed & Unihealth Manufacturers Ltd, Bangladesh.
